In 1984, Fulvio Pagani sought to introduce a chocolate confectionery capable of captivating Argentine people. It had to be attractive, tempting, but mainly it had to be within everybody’s reach. This is how Bon o Bon was born. From the beginning, it was seen that it was not going to be just another product. 

A new category is born with, a chocolate bonbon thought for everyone, for adults and children, to give or receive as a gift, Bon o Bon. Bon o Bon is comprised of three layers:  a chocolate center, a wafer, and a chocolate coating.  Bon o Bon’s rich sweet, milky taste, mixed with the crunchy wafer inbetween chocolates offer a great balance in taste and texture.  It was a hit among the Argentine consumers.   

Bon o Bon is currently the leader in the bonbon market in Argentina.  It has two manufacturing plants in Argentina, one in Mexico, and one in Brazil, which produce a total of about 3,000 Bon o Bons per minute.

Bon o Bon is a brand under Arcor, a food company specializing in confectionery in Argentina. The firm was founded on July 5, 1951 in the city of Arroyito, Córdoba.  Arcor specializes in the production of foodstuff, sugar and chocolate confectionery, cookies and ice cream in 39 industrial plants throughout Latin America.
